I’m Ava Baker, the photographer behind Ava Violet Photography, and I specialise in fine art maternity photography in Aldershot. Pregnancy is a remarkable, fleeting time — my aim is to help you remember it with timeless, elegant portraits that reflect how beautiful and powerful you are. I work with expecting mothers who want refined, calm imagery rather than rushed snapshots. My approach is gentle and reassuring. Sessions take place in my cosy studio at Union Yard, Aldershot, where I create a relaxed atmosphere and guide you through flattering, stylish poses so you feel confident and comfortable. You’ll have access to a curated wardrobe of flowing gowns and dresses to achieve that classic, editorial look, or you can wear something personal that makes you feel at your best. I welcome partners and older children so your maternity shoot can reflect your whole family if you wish. I recommend planning your shoot between around 28–34 weeks when your bump shows beautifully and you still feel comfortable. When you book, we’ll discuss your vision and styling in detail — colours, wardrobe choices, and whether you’d like intimate bare-bump portraits or family-inclusive images. On shoot day I provide gentle direction, plenty of time, and a calm pace so the session feels effortless. After the session I carefully edit your images to produce a cohesive, fine art collection. You’ll be invited to view your gallery and select the photographs you love; there are options for digital collections, luxury folio boxes, and wall art to turn your images into keepsakes. Sessions begin at £55, and I also offer pricing guidance and payment plans to make artwork and digital packages easier to afford. Why choose me?
