I’m Holly — a mum and a specialist maternity photographer based near Banbury, Oxfordshire. After losing my own mum shortly before becoming a mother, the way I value photographs changed forever. The small, everyday images we might overlook become the moments we hold most dear. That belief sits at the heart of every maternity session I create: for the moments that don’t seem like they are anything, but are everything. My approach to maternity photography is quietly celebratory and entirely natural. I aim to capture how you feel as well as how you look — the calm strength, the wonder, the tenderness of expecting mothers. Sessions are relaxed and gentle, focusing on authentic connection rather than stiff posing. I’ll help you choose outfits, suggest flattering tones and textures, and guide you through simple, reassuring directions so you feel confident and beautiful in front of the camera. You’ll be welcomed into my cosy home studio in Deddington — a bright, calming space with plenty of parking and refreshments. I want the session to feel like a little bubble of calm in a busy life: tea, snacks and a comfortable atmosphere where you can breathe and enjoy the experience. Whether you prefer soft, timeless portraits or more contemporary, emotive images, I work with natural light and minimalist styling to keep the focus on you and your bump. Working with me is collaborative and supportive. I provide a pre-session guide to help with outfit planning and answer any questions before we meet. During the shoot I move at your pace, creating space for quiet moments and gentle movement so we can capture genuine feelings and subtle gestures that tell your story. While maternity is my core focus, I also photograph families and milestones — many parents choose to continue the story with newborn or family photos later on.
