I’m Heather, the photographer behind award-winning Heather Elliott Photography, based in Bradford and easily reached from Leeds and the surrounding area. Maternity photography is one of my true passions — I love helping expectant mothers feel beautiful, confident and celebrated at this extraordinary moment in their lives. My approach is gentle, personal and relaxed. Sessions take place in my comfortable studio at Albion Mills where you can unwind with a coffee while we plan the look and feel of your shoot. Whether you’d like soft, natural portraits that capture the quiet intimacy of pregnancy or more styled bump photography that’s bold and editorial, I guide you through outfit choices, poses and props so the final images feel authentic and timeless. With over a decade specialising in newborns, babies and maternity photography, I bring experience, technical skill and a calm presence to every session. I’m fully insured and continually update my training to ensure safety and best practice. That same attention to detail and care that makes families trust me with their newborns is at the heart of my maternity sessions — I take the time to listen to your ideas and create images that you and your family will treasure for generations. During your session I offer styling support and help you choose looks that flatter your changing shape while keeping the images timeless. Many clients return to create a Bump to Birthday collection — capturing maternity, newborn and beyond — but if you simply want a beautiful maternity photoshoot, I’ll make sure the experience is calm, enjoyable and entirely about you. Although I specialise in maternity photography, I also photograph families and portraits, so if you’d like to include a partner, older children or your pet in your session I’m happy to guide you through that too. My priority is to create a warm, supportive atmosphere where you feel at ease and the genuine emotion of this time can come through.
