I’m Petra — a maternity photography specialist based in Burton upon Trent. For more than eight years I’ve devoted my work to celebrating pregnancy with a simple, soft and feminine style. My rule is that less is more: I aim to capture the natural beauty, quiet strength and tender emotion of this moment rather than rely on fussy props or forced poses. My studio has three distinct rooms (including a Boho-styled space and clean, classic backdrops), and I offer a curated wardrobe of dresses and outfits for mums-to-be so you can arrive feeling beautiful and ready. During the session I guide poses gently, helping even the most camera-shy mothers feel comfortable and natural. Practical care is built into every shoot. Maternity sessions are best between around 32–36 weeks to capture a lovely rounded bump, and I’ll advise on timing, styling and location to get the best light and mood.
