With over fifteen years of experience photographing families and expectant parents, I bring a gentle, personal approach that helps you feel at ease in front of the camera. My studio in Dry Drayton (just outside Cambridge) has been custom-built for a comfortable maternity session: a make-up suite for last-minute touches, a waiting/changing room for outfit changes, beautiful fabrics and dresses we can use, and an editing suite where every image is carefully retouched and colour-graded. After the shoot you’ll view your images in our cinema-style room so you can choose your favourites as a family — a relaxed, private moment to enjoy the photographs together. I recommend booking your maternity session between around 28–34 weeks, when your bump is beautifully formed but you still feel comfortable. Every session begins with a friendly conversation: we talk about wardrobe, props you might want to include (baby shoes, ultrasound photos, meaningful keepsakes), and the mood you prefer — soft and classic, modern and bold, or something in-between. During the shoot I guide posing with gentle direction, encouraging natural moments and tender interactions so the images feel authentic and timeless. My priority is to make the whole process simple and joyful. I respond personally to enquiries and aim to be thoughtful and helpful every step of the way.
