I’m Sarah, a Cambridge-based photographer who specialises in maternity photography. I believe pregnancy is one of the most beautiful chapters in life and I set out to create relaxed, natural images that celebrate the strength, tenderness and personality of each expecting mother. My approach is gentle and personal — I want you to feel comfortable, confident and seen during your session. Sessions are tailored around you. Before we meet I’ll talk through your ideas and styling preferences so the shoot reflects your vision — whether that’s a soft studio session, an outdoor location with Cambridge’s seasonal light, or a mix of both. I’m happy to include partners and children where you’d like them involved; bringing sentimental items such as scan photos or a favourite blanket is always encouraged to make the images meaningful. I aim for a calm, fun atmosphere that helps you relax and enjoy the experience. My style favours natural poses, genuine connection and subtle direction to capture real moments rather than stiff, posed shots. I’ll guide you gently through flattering poses and work with light, texture and simple styling to highlight your bump and the beautiful transformation your body is going through. This work is personal to me — I remember wanting to record every milestone when my daughter was born, and that drive to preserve fleeting moments is what inspires my photography. I pride myself on being approachable and patient, creating a warm environment where laughter and quiet moments both find their place in the images.
