I specialise in maternity photography from my cosy studio near Carshalton, and my passion is capturing the quiet, powerful beauty of pregnancy. As an award-winning photographer and qualified member of the Guild of Photographers, I bring years of experience and continual training to every session. My aim is simple: to create elegant, timeless images that celebrate you and the life you’re creating. What sets my maternity sessions apart is the personal, relaxed experience I design for each mum-to-be. We start with a consultation so I can understand your vision, preferred colours and whether you’d like a studio or location shoot. I have a carefully curated collection of gowns and drapes to help create flattering, ethereal images, and I’ll share styling guidance so you feel confident and comfortable on the day. I recommend scheduling between around 28–32 weeks when your bump is beautifully defined, but I’ll always work with your timing and comfort. On the day, expect a calm, reassuring atmosphere where you are the focus. I work gently and patiently, guiding poses that flatter your silhouette while allowing natural, intimate moments to emerge. Partners and older children are welcome to join if you’d like family moments included — otherwise we can concentrate on creating striking single portraits that will become cherished keepsakes. I don’t include hair and make-up in my packages, but I’m happy to recommend trusted local stylists if you’d like professional hair and make-up for your session. After the shoot you’ll be invited back for a face-to-face viewing where we’ll watch a personalised slideshow and choose the images you love. I’m passionate about helping clients display their photos — whether it’s a gallery wall, fine prints or albums — because maternity photos are a celebration to be enjoyed every day.
