LM Photography is a specialist maternity photographer based in Chatham, Kent. Led by Giulia, my practice is dedicated to creating simple, timeless maternity portraits that celebrate the beauty and quiet strength of pregnancy. I focus entirely on maternity photography as a core expertise — every session is carefully designed around the mother-to-be so the images feel honest, elegant and personal. My approach is relaxed and natural. I work in a neutral, light-filled studio that maximises natural light and minimal styling so the focus remains on you and your bump. I prefer minimal posing and gentle direction that lets real moments emerge: soft hands on a belly, intimate glances, the small details that tell your pregnancy story. The result is a collection of photographs with a calm, timeless quality that will age gracefully in your home. Working with me is collaborative and supportive. Before your session I provide a styling guide so we can choose outfits and tones that suit your vision. You’ll have full access to the client wardrobe in the studio, with carefully chosen pieces that flatter maternity silhouettes and work beautifully on camera. Partners and children are welcome to join, and I’ll guide the whole family to create natural, connected images. My background — leaving a hobby behind to pursue photography after becoming a mother — shapes how I photograph expecting families: with patience, empathy and an eye for detail. I also co‑found a photography workshop in Tuscany, which keeps my practice creative and connected to a wider community of photographers.
