I’m Emma — the photographer behind Hudson & Rose — and maternity photography is one of the things I’m most passionate about. Based in Cleethorpes and working across North East Lincolnshire, I specialise in relaxed, outdoor maternity sessions that celebrate the real, tender moments of pregnancy. My approach is gentle, documentary-led and playful: I’ll guide you with light direction but mostly let the love and connection between you (and your family) shine through. I love sunrise beach shoots, golden-hour fields and woodland locations around Cleethorpes and Grimsby, and I’ll always choose settings that flatter your bump and bring out genuine smiles. If you prefer the comfort of home, I’m happy to photograph you there too; whatever makes you feel most yourself. My sessions focus on connection — the quiet moments, the expectant glow, the way hands rest on a bump. As founder of the Hudson and Rose Breastfeeding Project, I understand the journey into parenthood and create a supportive space where you can relax and enjoy your session. How I work: before your session we’ll chat about locations, clothing and the mood you want. On the day I’ll keep the atmosphere light and fun — I’m known for chasing giggles (and occasionally throwing leaves for extra laughter). After the shoot I carefully edit your images to keep tones natural and timeless so your photographs are ones you’ll want to look at again and again. I’m based in Cleethorpes, proud to support local families, and happy to travel for the right project.
