Hi, I’m Stephanie — a Hampshire-based maternity photographer who loves documenting the quiet, powerful moments of pregnancy. My approach is relaxed and natural: I aim to create a calm, welcoming atmosphere where you can feel beautiful and genuinely yourself in front of the camera. Whether we shoot in your home in Eastleigh or at a nearby outdoor location, I focus on using soft natural light and timeless composition to highlight the connection between you, your bump and your family. I bring over two decades of photography experience and a background working as a social worker for the Deaf and people with learning disabilities. I’m fluent in British Sign Language and experienced with SEN families, which means my shoots are accessible, patient and sensitive to individual needs. I pride myself on making sessions easy and enjoyable — you won’t be posed into stiff smiles; instead I’ll guide you with gentle prompts and little moments to capture authentic emotion and movement. Before your shoot we’ll chat about what you love: locations, wardrobe, and any special moments you want included. I send a prep guide and questionnaire so we can plan outfits, timing and whether you’d like family portraits included. Many clients choose a mix of intimate single-portrait shots and relaxed family images to tell the full story of this season in your life. I also offer the option to combine maternity and newborn sessions — many families find this a meaningful way to document the start of their journey and there are package savings available when booking both. My goal is to deliver images you’ll want on your walls and in your albums: simple, emotive photographs that feel like you.
