As a maternity specialist my sessions are designed around you. Most people tell me they feel nervous about posing, so I guide you gently with simple, flattering prompts and encourage natural movement. I favour light, neutral tones and minimalist backdrops to keep the imagery soft and timeless — whether we’re working in my studio in Leigh-on-Sea or choosing a favourite outdoor spot around Hadleigh and wider Essex. How I work: we start with a friendly pre-shoot chat so I can hear your ideas, offer outfit and location suggestions, and make sure the session will feel relaxed and enjoyable. On the day I’ll lead the flow of the shoot, offer gentle direction, and give plenty of space for natural moments — the quiet smiles, the hand-on-bump poses, and the little interactions that make maternity photos truly personal. I’ll also accommodate family or partner shots if you’d like those included. I recommend booking at a time that suits you — many clients prefer around 32–37 weeks — but I’ll always tailor the session to how you’re feeling.
