Hi — I’m Ellie, a maternity specialist based at Parndon Mill in Harlow. With a degree in photography and hands-on experience working in luxury fashion and retouching, I bring a considered, timeless approach to every maternity photoshoot. I photograph expecting mothers with care and intention, creating portraits that celebrate the strength, softness and quiet joy of pregnancy. My style is simple and timeless: I favour natural light, clean compositions and gentle posing that lets your connection and personality lead the frame. Whether you prefer classic, pared-back images or soft, styled portraits that highlight your bump, I’ll work with you to create images that feel authentic and elegant. Training through newborn workshops has refined my patience and care around family sessions, and my background in fashion photography and retouching ensures every final image is finished to a high standard. How I work: from booking you’ll receive a welcome pack with styling advice to help you feel confident and prepared. Sessions take place in my relaxed studio at Parndon Mill, where there’s on-site parking, light refreshments and a cosy environment designed to put you at ease. I provide access to a studio wardrobe and a selection of blankets, wraps and handmade props so you don’t need to worry about bringing everything yourself. My approach is calm and conversational — I guide gentle poses and encourage natural movement so your photos feel sincere rather than staged. I love building a friendly, trusting relationship with each client. Maternity sessions are an opportunity to slow down and celebrate this unique time; I prioritise comfort, privacy and a relaxed atmosphere so you can enjoy the experience as much as the images.
