Feather and moss photography specialises in maternity photography from our Hindley base, serving families across Wigan and Manchester. I’m Magdalena and my work is driven by a love of creating magical, storytelling portraits that celebrate this unique time in your life. I’m trained to flatter every body and to photograph every stage of pregnancy with respect and care. My style blends a fine-art sensibility with warm, natural storytelling. I create posed and relaxed images that capture the connection between you, your bump and your family. Sessions are relaxed and unhurried — typically lasting around 1–2 hours — so there’s plenty of time for outfit changes, partner and sibling portraits, feeding or breaks as needed. For outdoor shoots I provide a dignity-protective changing tent and, as a female photographer, I’ll always ensure your comfort and privacy. How we work together: we start with a friendly consultation to plan location, wardrobe and the mood you want to achieve. On the day I guide you gently through flattering poses and natural interactions so you can relax and enjoy the experience — you don’t need to know how to pose, I’ll direct everything. After the shoot a viewing appointment is arranged (usually 2–3 weeks later) where your images are presented fully edited and retouched. This appointment is your moment to choose the photographs and wall art you love — no pressure, just beautiful options. Capturing pregnancy is a privilege.
