I’m Kate — a Hindley-based maternity photographer who loves capturing the quiet, powerful beauty of pregnancy. My approach is rooted in creating natural, timeless images that celebrate the connection between mother and baby. I blend neutral, earthy tones with soft textures and simple, understated poses so the focus stays on you and the story you’re carrying. Photography for me is about preserving moments families can return to again and again. I trained with some of the industry’s most respected photographers, and that guidance informs every session: from the way I light a frame to how I help you relax in front of the camera. Your comfort and safety are always my number one priority—I work slowly, listen carefully, and follow your lead so the experience feels calm, supportive and genuinely enjoyable. Sessions are intentionally relaxed and conversational. I encourage partners and children to join if you’d like — those candid interactions and gentle family moments often become the most treasured images. If you prefer a more intimate portrait session, we’ll focus solely on you, celebrating the shape of your bump and the beauty of this stage. I keep the styling simple and timeless, and the studio is stocked with maternity dresses and neutral props to complement your session without overwhelming it. Based in Hindley and serving Wigan and the wider North West, I aim to make every maternity photoshoot personal and memorable. I love getting to know people — their hobbies, travels and stories often shape the tone of a shoot — and I treat each session as a collaboration rather than a checklist. After the session you’ll receive a private online gallery so you can choose the images you love at your own pace.
