I am Morag MacDonald and I specialise in maternity photography from my base in Keynsham, serving Keynsham, Bristol and the South West. Maternity work is one of my core passions — I approach each pregnancy photoshoot with the same simple, stylish sensibility that runs through all my portrait work. Many clients choose studio sessions in a comfortable, private setting, while others prefer location shoots in a nearby park, wood or at home. I work gently and unhurriedly so you feel relaxed and confident throughout the session. My style for pregnancy photography favours natural light, clean compositions and timeless black-and-white and colour images. I enjoy bump photography that feels both intimate and honest — close-up studies of hands and profiles, candid moments with partners or older children, and quietly powerful portraits of you alone. I believe pregnancy portraits should reflect who you are, not a trend, so each gallery is uniquely tailored to you. What to expect: we’ll talk before your shoot to plan the look and location you want. The best time for a maternity shoot is often around 32–36 weeks when your bump feels beautifully defined, but I am flexible and will work with whatever timing suits you. Sessions are unhurried to allow for comfort breaks and outfit changes. After the shoot you’ll be invited to view your images and choose the photographs you love; I provide gentle retouching to ensure your finished images look natural and flattering. Based in Keynsham, I regularly photograph expecting mothers across the region and am proud to bring an experienced, award-winning eye to every maternity session.
