Hi — I’m Cat, the photographer behind Kitty Belle Photography, and maternity photography is at the heart of what I do in Shepshed, near Loughborough. I believe maternity images can be some of the most beautiful photographs a woman will ever have. For expectant mothers I aim to create relaxed, flattering portraits that celebrate your changing body and the tiny life you’re carrying. As a specialist in maternity photography I work with flowing fabrics, simple styling and gentle posing to highlight your bump and capture timeless, elegant images. My promise is that no matter how uncomfortable or fed up you may be feeling towards the end of your pregnancy, I will make sure you look and feel a million dollars. Sessions take place in my warm home studio in Shepshed, where I create a calm atmosphere and guide you through flattering positions so we capture your best angles. During your session I provide a selection of flowing dresses and materials to complement your bump; I offer gentle direction throughout so you always feel comfortable and confident. Partners and older siblings are welcome to join the shoot — family members can be included for a few shots, then we continue the session focusing on you and your bump for the images that celebrate this special moment. I keep the process simple and personal: from booking we’ll discuss timing and styling to suit how you’re feeling. On the day I’ll take care of lighting, posing and wardrobe so you can relax and enjoy the experience. My style leans towards soft, timeless portraits that will sit beautifully on your walls and in your family album for years to come.
