Based in Peacehaven (just outside Brighton), I’ve spent the last 15 years working with expecting mothers across East Sussex, developing a style that feels simple, honest and timeless. My sessions are rooted in natural light and a calm atmosphere. Whether you prefer the intimacy of my studio or the golden glow of a sunset on Brighton Beach, I’ll work with you to choose a location and look that reflects how you want to remember this moment. I often photograph maternity sessions between 27–36 weeks, when your bump feels beautifully round, but I’m always happy to tailor timing to what feels right for you. What makes my maternity work different is a blend of technical experience and a warm, relaxed manner. I provide gentle guidance on poses so you look and feel comfortable, but I’m also a keen observer — I wait for the authentic, unscripted moments that reveal connection and personality. My background in textile design means I pay close attention to textures, fabrics and tones, helping build images that are both modern and elegant. I take a bespoke approach and limit the number of shoots I book each month. That allows me to give every session the time and care it deserves — from scouting locations and planning wardrobe and props to capturing the shoot itself with patience and creativity. Many clients choose a mix of posed and natural images, and I’m happy to include partners or children if you’d like a family element woven into your maternity session.
