Hi, I’m Jodie‑Lee — a Lancashire photographer who specialises in maternity photography. Based in Rossendale, I love working with expecting mums to create relaxed, colourful and authentic images that celebrate this short, beautiful season of life. My approach is simple: keep things comfortable, candid and full of heart so you come away with photographs that feel like you. Sessions are lifestyle-led and designed around what makes you feel most at ease. Whether we’re in the comfort of your home, wandering a favourite local park, or finding a quiet spot near your venue, I focus on documenting natural moments — the quiet hand on a bump, the laughter with a partner, the small details that make your story unique. I give gentle direction rather than stiff poses, so you look and feel like yourselves while I capture real connection. I know how personal maternity photography is. Before your shoot we’ll have a proper chat about locations, clothing choices (I often recommend soft, neutral or pastel tones), and any ideas you have. I’m happy to include partners or little ones, and I’ll always work at a pace that suits you — especially if you need breaks or time to rest. My sessions are relaxed, friendly and tailored to the expectant family, with plenty of time to capture both intimate portraits and playful moments. As someone who also photographs families and newborns, I understand how the maternity session fits into the bigger picture of your family story.
