I’m Natalie — the photographer behind Fairydust & Moonbeams — and maternity photography is my passion. Based in South Ruislip, I specialise in maternity photoshoots designed to celebrate the calm strength, excitement and tenderness of pregnancy. My work focuses on capturing authentic connection: the quiet moments, the laughing looks, the gentle hold of a hand on a bump that you’ll want to remember forever. My approach is personal and relaxed. I prefer in-home sessions because your own space feels comfortable and meaningful — when you’re relaxed, the images feel natural. I guide you through simple poses and gentle prompts rather than stiff direction, so even if you don’t think of yourself as “photogenic” you’ll come away with images that feel like you. My style leans towards soft, timeless portraits that emphasise emotion and story rather than over-styled trends. Experience and care matter. Over the years I’ve built a practice rooted in empathy and technical skill. I trained extensively in specialist baby and family safety, and that attention to detail informs every shoot — from planning to the final edit. I’ll work with you before the session to discuss wardrobe, mood and any ideas you have so the day feels calm and enjoyable. After the shoot I carefully edit your images and can help you select professional prints and wall art that become family heirlooms; pieces that keep those feelings alive in your home.
