I’m Paul, the photographer behind Picture This Photos, based in Thamesmead. Maternity photography is my core passion — I love helping expectant mothers feel confident and celebrated during one of the most beautiful moments of their lives. With more than 15 years’ experience photographing families and maternity sessions across London, Essex and Kent, I specialise in creating elegant, timeless portraits that honour the curve, the glow and the quiet anticipation of pregnancy. My approach is relaxed and personal. Many clients prefer the comfort of their own home, so I bring a mobile studio and professional lighting to create studio-quality maternity portraits without you having to leave home. If you’d rather be outdoors, I’m equally happy to work at a nearby park or favourite location. I aim to capture a mix of classic, posed images and gentle, natural moments — flattering, simple compositions that will look beautiful now and for years to come. Before your session we have a friendly chat to talk through what you want to achieve, any reference images you like and who will be joining the shoot. I provide gentle direction so you always feel at ease in front of the camera, and I’ll take time to find flattering lighting and poses that celebrate your bump. Partners, siblings and pets are welcome to join in — I often weave intimate family portraits into maternity sessions so you leave with memories of this chapter together.
