What makes my maternity work special is my background and attention to light and timing. Years in stage management and TV production taught me to be ready for the perfect moment and to craft an image the first time — a useful skill when capturing fleeting expressions and intimate connections. I was also fortunate to be mentored by an exceptional family and newborn photographer, which deepened my understanding of gentle handling, flattering light and editing that enhances natural beauty. How I work with you: I focus on listening to the look and mood you want — classic, soft and timeless or a more dramatic silhouette — and I guide you gently through poses that feel comfortable and true to you. Sessions are paced with care so you can relax; if you’d like partner or family shots, or a few images with older siblings, we include those naturally. I love shooting in kitchens, bedrooms, gardens or coastal locations — anywhere that tells your story. A note on timing: to capture that full bump effect many clients find weeks 32–34 ideal (earlier for multiples), but I’m happy to discuss what’s best for you.
