I’m Lisa Lynch and maternity photography is at the heart of what I do in Derry. My approach is simple: create a calm, welcoming studio space where expecting mothers can feel comfortable, confident and beautifully themselves. Years of working with families have taught me that patience, a relaxed atmosphere and gentle direction are the foundation for images that feel honest and timeless. My specialty is capturing the quiet, powerful moments of pregnancy — the soft curves of a bump, the shared smiles between partners, and the intimate connections you’ll want to remember forever. I work closely with each client before the session to understand your vision, preferred style and any wardrobe choices. In the studio I offer a selection of gowns and subtle backdrops to keep the focus on you, while allowing for partner and children to join and become part of the story when you want them included. What makes my maternity photoshoots different is how I blend a natural, documentary feel with classic portrait techniques. I aim for images that look effortless and genuine, not overly posed. I give clear, calm direction during the session while leaving room for spontaneous moments — those tiny, unplanned gestures that become the most treasured photographs. I started my business in 2012 and over the years I’ve learned how to make even camera-shy clients feel at ease.
