Hey there — I’m Lisa. Photography has been my love for as long as I can remember, and capturing the glow and emotion of pregnancy is one of the things I do best. As a specialist maternity photographer based in Derry (serving Donegal and the surrounding areas), I focus on creating pregnancy portraits that are timeless, intimate and gently editorial — images you’ll treasure for a lifetime. My approach to maternity photography is relaxed and personal. I care deeply about making you feel comfortable and beautiful in front of the camera. Before your maternity photoshoot we’ll chat about what inspires you — favourite places, clothing, or the mood you want — and I’ll bring ideas that honour your personality. I love light and reflection and will use natural light, thoughtful posing and simple direction to create soft, emotive images that highlight your bump and the quiet, powerful moments of expectancy. Stylistically I blend classic, romantic and editorial influences. Whether you prefer a soft at-home session, a windswept outdoor shoot, or portraits in a location that holds meaning for you, my goal is to capture authentic moments rather than stiff poses. Many of my clients tell me they enjoyed the session more than they expected — I’m here for the hugs, the laughter, and the gentle reassurance that you’re doing something wonderful. I began my photography journey with courses and made the leap to full-time work in 2015; since then I’ve specialised in family-focused work including newborn, family and maternity photography. While I also photograph weddings and family life, maternity is a core focus — I bring the same care, composition and editorial eye to pregnancy photography as I do to every other image I make.
