I specialise in maternity photography because I believe the months before your baby arrives are some of the most beautiful and fleeting moments you will ever experience. Based in a bright, all-white studio in Bridgeton — just five minutes from Glasgow city centre — I create calm, natural and timeless maternity photoshoots that celebrate your connection with your bump. My approach is relaxed and personal. When you arrive I’ll pop the kettle on and we’ll take a moment to chat about your pregnancy journey — the little details you want to remember. I aim to work like a fly on the wall, guiding gentle movement and natural interaction rather than forcing posed, “look at the camera” shots. The result is imagery that feels authentic and intimate: soft, simple and focused on the glow of this special time. Styling matters to me because it helps keep images timeless. I usually suggest neutral, earthy tones and avoid bold patterns so the focus stays on you and your bump. If you’d like help I’m happy to advise outfits beforehand, and I keep a selection of dresses in the studio you’re welcome to use. My studio is warm, comfortable and stocked with little comforts — tea, biscuits and everything to make your visit easy and enjoyable. For the best results I recommend booking your maternity session around 34–36 weeks, when your bump looks beautifully defined but you’re still comfortable to move and pose. Each session is tailored to you: whether you prefer delicate, moody portraits or bright, airy images, I’ll adapt the session to suit your vision while keeping my signature natural, timeless style.
