Hi, I’m Elicia (but please call me Liss) — the photographer behind The Copper Lens and a specialist in maternity photography based in Clydach. As a mum of two and an ex-police officer, I bring patience, calm and a down-to-earth energy to every pregnancy photoshoot. My favourite part of this work is helping expectant mothers feel beautiful, confident and utterly celebrated as they approach one of life’s biggest milestones. My approach to maternity photography is simple: create timeless, elegant images that feel honest and empowering. I work with natural, flattering light and a muted, classic aesthetic so your photographs sit beautifully on your walls for years to come. Sessions are relaxed and centred around you — I guide poses in a gentle, reassuring way, give clear direction when needed, and make sure you leave feeling proud of the experience as well as the results. I pride myself on offering a boutique, supportive experience from booking to delivery. Before your session I’ll send a prep guide with outfit suggestions and styling tips so you know exactly what to wear to flatter your bump. In the studio I provide a warm, welcoming space and a curated wardrobe to help you feel like the best version of yourself. During the shoot I encourage real moments — partners and little ones are very welcome — and I focus on capturing the tenderness and strength of this season.
