Hello — I’m Leah, a specialist maternity photographer based in Tonypandy serving Tonypandy and the wider Rhondda Cynon Taf area. My approach to maternity photography is warm, patient and personal. I consider myself to be very patient, understanding, creative and approachable, and I’ve built my bump – to – baby sessions around creating a calm space where you can feel at ease and celebrated. Pregnancy is a unique chapter and my goal is to create maternity photos that reflect the real connection between you and your baby — and between you and your partner or family if they join the session. I work in a natural whilst remaining creative style: I love capturing candid, tender moments alongside a few carefully directed portraits to produce images that feel authentic and timeless. How I work: we start with a relaxed conversation to understand your vision, comfort levels and any ideas you have. On the day I take things at your pace — gentle posing, soft direction and plenty of time so you never feel rushed. I encourage simple wardrobe and minimal props so the focus remains on you and your bump, but I’m happy to help with styling suggestions and to include personal items that mean something to you. My experience in portraiture and family photography informs how I compose each shot: flattering light, natural expressions and thoughtful framing. Being a parent of three gives me a true appreciation for these moments and the trust parents place in me to capture them. I studied photography at the University of Glamorgan and bring that technical knowledge together with a friendly, down-to-earth approach.
